Step 3 Maintain the look of a Polished Floor

Floor Polishes do not like harsh chemicals such as Flash or the very good Merlin Hard Surface Cleaner. The chemicals that make them such good cleaners will dull or even partially remove the floor polish. Use a balanced, Polished Floor Maintainer, preferably one that matches the manufacturers floor polish used.

NEVER WET MOP a polished floor. Always use a damp mop like you would a damp cloth when wiping a kitchen surface. This will keep the floor clean. If you have access to a buffing machine then buffing will greatly increase the shine & durabilty of the floor polish making future maintainence easier & quicker.
